The Aragon Lacemakers have regular meetings where the group shares skills, drink tea and make lace together. All ages and abilities are welcome to join us. Anyone can come along to any of our lace days as a visitor and won’t even need to make lace, visitors can bring along their own craft projects if they’d like to. The dates of the upcoming meetings can be found on our Meetings page, our September meeting and November Lace Day have been cancelled due to coronavirus, we are trying to plan a meeting for October, but we will confirm the location and date(s) closer to the month.
We have a flower competition running at the current time, all flowers will form part of an exhibition at the Higgins Museum in Bedford during 2021, more information and example patterns can be found on the Flower Competition page.
The Aragon Lacemakers group often give talks and demonstrations at various establishments and organisations so please get in touch if you run a group that would like to know more about Bedfordshire lace making.
Please visit our Demonstrations page for updates and information on projects, exhibitions and details of when and where the meetings will be held, many of our demonstrations have been cancelled due to coronavirus.
